Born in Kansas and raised in Florida and Utah, Brian received his BFA in Music Dance Theatre from Brigham Young University.
He recently starred in Red Roses, Green Gold, the Grateful Dead musical Off-Broadway. Other Off-Broadway: A Christmas Carol (MOD). NYC: Johnny & The Devil’s Box, Club Gelbe Stern, Beau. Regional: Back Home Again, Ring of Fire, All Shook Up, She Loves Me.
In addition to performing on stage, Brian is also an accomplished musician and songwriter/composer. He has worked professionally as a performing pianist and accompanist, and has extensive training and experience in viola/violin performance. He plays 12 instruments and is always learning new ones.
Brian also works as a music director at regional theaters across the country including Royal Caribbean International. He loves to teach and works all over the city teaching master classes and as a private vocal and audition coach. He is the resident music director at the Open Jar Institute & he is faculty at AMDA, Molloy College CAP 21 & has taught at NYU, UVU & BYU.
Brian also enjoys hiking, Netflix, and considers himself a connoisseur of every and all types of cheesecake.
